Materials needed:

• Fabric
  • Bag Body
    • 20 strips (2 1/2″ x 42/44″) 1 1/2 yd
    • OR
      • 14 strips for the lower bag body 1 yd
      • 6 strips for the upper bag body 1/2 yd
  • Binding, Handles, Pockets 1 yd
• Double-sided Fusible Batting (we recommend Duet Fuse II by Bosal) 1 yd
• Medium Weight Cotton Batting 45″ wide (for the bag body) 1 yd
• Matching Cotton Thread (use a 50 weight 2 ply thread)
• Handles (1/4″ diameter plumbing tubing) 5 ft
• Buttons
  • 2 large (or more for a layered look)
  • 1 heavy duty magnetic button
