This is a fun multi-step pattern that incorporates two different curved piecing blocks with some fun paper piecing type of instructions to create the standing and bent flamingo legs. We named ours Lola and Ruby! What will you name yours?

2 1/4 yards background fabric
1 fat quarter dark fabric for legs/feet/beak
(1) 5” x 5” gray fabric for beak
(2) fat quarters pink fabric for head/neck/body
(8) fat eighths assorted prints for flamingo bodies
12” or larger straight edge ruler
3 yards backing
1/2 yard binding
