These versatile shorts can be made with back pockets and/or front pockets. The optional faux fly and belt loops will make your little guy feel like one of the big boys. To keep up with growing boys, the waist can be made to be adjustable however the faux fly can also be made with regular elastic, and the pattern also features a simple elastic waist. These stylish long shorts are loose fitting for comfort and fall slightly below the knee. Your boy will love these practical, fun-to-wear Longies. And best of all, they will get many years of wear out of them! Be creative with your fabric choices – solids, contrasting prints, linen or denim, the possibilities are endless – they even look great in girlie fabrics! This multiple size pattern comes in sizes 6 months to 8 years, colour-coded for ease of cutting.

Longies are suitable for advanced beginner sewers and can be made in any light to medium weight woven fabric.
