Introducing the Field Journal 4 1/2″ square trimming template for trimming your stitcheries to hold in your Journal ready for piecing. Normal 4 1/2″ rulers are brilliant for measuring accurately but the ruled lines are too hard to see through and distracting when you are trying to visually balance your stitchery. I have designed the Field Journal trimming template so you can visually balance the design within the square and either trim with a rotary cutter or trace around to hand cut. There are also pen holes in the corners for marking 1/4″ seam allowance on the back for accurate piecing.
