Layer Cake friendly pattern

Feathers is not paper pieced and no template is used.  

The block is made with traditional piecing methods.

I used a beautiful moda collection called Strawberry Fields Revisited by Fig Tree.  

The block measures 8 1/2″ and 8″ sewn into the quilt.
