Smock style dress or tunic with contrast yoke and rounded pockets.

Chloé is a pull-on smock-style dress or tunic which features a rounded-square neckline with a contrasting ruffled yoke, a pair of oversized rounded pockets and a contrast fabric hem band. There are no set-in sleeves to sew, so it goes together in a snap. A wide drawstring cinches the dress tight at the waist for a sweet, girly look.

SUGGESTED FABRICS: quilting cottons, shirtings, voiles, gauzes, lawns, linens and muslins, 44″/45″ wide.

FABRIC REQUIREMENTS: based on 44″/45″ wide woven fabrics. Fabric #1= main bodice and skirt. Fabrics #2 and #3= contrast (pockets, hem band, waistband, ruffles). Fabric #4 = bodice lining

NOTIONS:
Fusible lightweight interfacing: 6″ of 21″-wide lightweight fusible interfacing to be cut and pieced together. 1/2″-wide Double-fold Bias tape (for sleeve binding): 1 y. for sizes 2T to 4 and 1 1/4 y. for sizes 5 to 10 (or make your own).
