One of our first and most popular patterns “back in the day” when we started showcased this block, traditionally called the Nosegay. It instantly made me think of giant ice cream cones and I was so proud to figure out a simple way to not use all those traditional templates! That pattern is now out of print and when I designed my newest fabric collection, Coney Island, I knew I had to breathe new life into this Fig Tree classic. So with a completely new setting, new directions and some fabulous new fabric, Coney Island Remix was born. It is a perfect way to use fat eighths or even fat quarters to create little heirloom nosegays of your own. Blocks look complicated but aren’t… I promise! Oh and by the way… you won’t want to miss the MINI version of this available as a separate “mini” pattern… its just a little bit irresistible!
