At Christmas time I like to think about being a blessing to others as I am thankful for the blessings in my own life. This Christmas stitchery was designed with a very special couple named Bobbie and Sarah in mind. For the last 25 years they have been helping the scavenger children who live on the Lapu Lapu city dump on the island of Cebu in the Philippines. Their organisation feeds, clothes and educates these kids in their school facilities, giving them a real chance in life. Bobbie and Sarah rely on donations to educate and care for these kids. A dear friend of mine made me aware of this situation and I really wanted to be a blessing to these children who have nothing. As a result, when you buy this pattern, you will know that my royalty payment from it will go to Bobbie and Sarah to help them in their work. In this way we can all participate in this blessing.
